For more than 25 years Teresa has worked in higher education and non-profit organizational settings in the areas of grant writing and funding development; program design, development and management; marketing and media production; and, administrative and fiscal management.  Previous to her position at FDP, Teresa  worked as contract and grant administrator at UNM’s Southwest Hispanic Research Institute; previous to that she was manager of marketing and development at the New Mexico Center for Dispute Resolution.  Teresa is a founding member and current chair of the Governing Council for la Academia de Lengua y Cultura, a dual language charter middle school in Albuquerque.  Teresa received her B.A. in journalism and political science and completed graduate work in American Studies, both at the University of Iowa, Iowa City.
