Paula has 16 years teaching experience with children through adults in multiple disciplines.  She has two bachelor’s degrees from UNM, one in University Studies with emphases in French and Dance, and the other in Elementary Education, with endorsements in TESOL and Bilingual Education.  She holds licenses to teach 0 to 3 and K to 8. Paula began studying Spanish while living off and on in Guatemala for four years and has worked continuously to improve her ability to speak and write it.  She is currently enrolled in a Master's program at the College of Education, University of New Mexico.
